We believe we're the best. Ford, GM, DaimlerChrysler, Firestone, Pep Boys, Goodyear, and many others believe we're the best. But you need to decide this for yourself. We can't build a long-term business without educated customers, so we'll help with the schooling. Below are links to other companies that sell on-car brake lathes, please check them out.

Accu-turn (http://www.accu-turn.com)
Accu-turn imports a caliper-mount machine made in the Netherlands by Mad Industries (www.mad-tooling.com). No U.S. auto manufacturer recommends caliper lathes for vehicle warranty service.

Ammco (http://www.ammcoats.com/products_lathes.aspx?id=154)
Ammco abandoned their caliper mounted lathe and designed a hub mounted version that has semi automatic run-out compensation.

Hunter Engineering (http://www.hunterengineering.com)
Hunter Engineering sells a semi-automatic hub-mounted machine that's made in Italy by COSTRUZIONI MECCANICHE CAORLE spa (www.caorle-spa.com). This is Hunter Engineering's third product introduction in the on-car lathe category. They have discontinued their two previous models - a manual machine from German manufacturer Hunger, and a fully automatic version from Caorle.
