The GYR changes everything. For the first time a technician can know precisely where the rotor stands vs. spec before, during, and after the cut. And the shop (and customer) can be assured of the quality of each and every brake job. GYR Validated Brake Service directs the technician to make in-spec repairs and captures the finished metrics (rotor thickness and run-out) of every rotor machined! Finished results are automatically saved to the tablet and an on-line database and can be printed for customer and/or your records. The GYR system provides management with the means to set and successfully manage a single, profitable policy for brake repair.

*GYR LICENSE FEE: There is a $395 annual license fee for the vehicle data and updates to the GYR application. This fee is charged on the anniversary of the original purchase date.

GYR Key Features

  1. Captures VIN number of every vehicle serviced. Also records date, time, technician, causal code, and vehicle mileage.
  2. Directs the technician to make in-spec repairs every time.

How the GYR Works

  1. Technician scans vehicle, VIN number captured and rotor specs loaded to tablet pc.
  2. GYR application directs the technician to stay within vehicle specifications as rotor is serviced.
  3. Data is saved to tablet pc and on-line. Results can also be printed out.
  4. A GYR brake job is still 9 minutes / rotor! Increased quality, consistency, and proof of service with no loss in efficiency!

Pro-Cut PFM 9.2 DRO      w/ G2X Upgrade

The G2X upgrade is based on an innovative ALL NEW parallel-arm cutting head which features over-sized adjustment dials and a built-in micrometer. The cutting head plugs into Pro-Cut's standard on-board computer to provide LIVE digital read-out of rotor thickness as the tech sets cut depth and machines the rotor. The technician has 100% control of the finished rotor thickness BEFORE making the cut!
