NEW PRO-CUT TROLLEY MAINTAINS BALANCE AND STABILITY WHEN MACHINING ROTORS
June 30, 2003
WEST LEBANON, NH, June 30, 2003 -- A completely redesigned new trolley for Pro-Cut on-car brake lathes provides improved stability and flexibility for brake rotor machining on the vehicle. The new trolley (part no.50-350rev3) is available to fit any Pro-Cut lathe, and features:
- "Zero gravity" shock absorbers that stabilize both height and camber and hold the lathe at any position
- A centered pivot point that makes lathe rotation easy and keeps the lathe balanced when used in the upside down position
- An adjustable "power screw" arm that can be easily raised or lowered with the impact wrench for use on drive-on lifts
- Oversize 5" wheels for easy rolling and greater stability
"The new trolley adds a whole new dimension to machining rotors with the on-car lathe. The increased stability and ability to rotate the lathe easily while retaining balance, speeds up machining operations and increases machining precision. And the adjustable poser screw simplifies use on drive-on lifts. The trolley makes rotor machining on the vehicle easier and more profitable," said Jeff Hastings, president of Pro-Cut International.
Pro-Cut's PFM 9.0 on car disc brake lathe machines virtually any brake rotor on most vehicles in 10 minutes or less. The first on-car lathe approved by the big three auto manufacturers plus most other car companies, the PFM 9.0 provides computer-controlled accuracy to within .001", and one-cut, finish cut technology removes up to .020" from each side of the rotor in a single pass
"In four simple steps the Pro-Cut PFM 9.0 on-car lathe will completely cut and finish virtually any rotor. The lathe produces smooth, accurate brake rotor finishing right on the car or truck. A wide variety of adapters connect the lathe to virtually every vehicle on the road today, up to medium duty trucks," Hastings said..
