Pro-Cut Launches Van Rep Program
First Rep Up and Running in St. Louis Market

In an effort to more fully control the sales and service experience of their customer base, Pro-Cut International has begun the roll-out of a van rep program that will put more company-owned sales and service vans into the field. The first of these van reps has recently hit the streets after completing an intensive training program at the company's New Hampshire headquarters.
Previously, Pro-Cut sales and service had been handled exclusively by certified independent reps. The future model calls for a blend of independent and company run territories. "We realize there are markets that are not conducive to partnering with an independent sales and service outlet," said Van Rep Manager Doreen Cutter, "these are the areas we're targeting for roll-out."
Cutter projects that Pro-Cut will add eight to ten vans in 2006 with a target of 25 by 2008 and 50 by 2009. "We're looking to build systems that will not only serve as a template for future van reps, but also provide direction and support for our independent reps," said Cutter.
Reps are outfitted with Dodge Sprinter vans that are stocked with all tools and parts required to service the Pro-Cut line of brake lathes. On-board AC power and custom fabrication allow for convenient on-site demonstrations outside of the customers' bays. Installed GPS helps reps navigate and allows the home office to track progress.
"We've put over 10,000 brake lathes out into the field in the last 2 years, said Bruce Prince, VP Sales, "this growth in customer base has put greater demands on our sales and service force and given us the critical mass to support this type of program. We need to stay close to our customer base and this puts Pro-Cut employees back on the front line.
Pro-Cut International markets the Pro-Cut series of on-car brake lathes including the PFM 9.0 and PFM 9.2. The company is located in West Lebanon, NH.
