Pro-Cut Offers Same Day Parts Promise with All PFM 9.0 Lathes

Pro-Cut International is launching another innovative program to help insure that customers get non-stop service and value out of their Pro-Cut brake lathes. The Same Day Parts Promise is included with every PFM 9.0 on-car brake lathe sold and will be honored for the life of the lathe.

 

The Same Day Parts Promise is Pro-Cut's guarantee that every PFM 9.0 lathe will be serviced efficiently and effectively. Any service question placed with Pro-Cut before 2 pm Eastern Time will be diagnosed and answered, and any parts required to fix a problem shipped, that same day. If Pro-Cut fails to meet this deadline, the parts are free. "It's our way of letting the customer know that we're in their court, that we're willing to put our money where our mouth is," said Joe GiConte, Pro-Cut's Director of Quality, Training and Service.

 

The Pro-Cut PFM 9.0 has a modular design that lends itself to simple repairs that can be performed in the shop with standard tools. Shops looking to avoid the charge of having an on-site visit by a trained Pro-Cut technician can repair any problem themselves. Many times the repair is not only less expensive, but faster. "We've been offereing this level of top notch service for a long time," said Giconte, "the Same Day Parts Promise is simply our way of branding this, and letting the market know what we will do for them. I know of no other brake lathe manufacturer that offers this level of service promise."

 

"With other lathes the service promises expire with the warranty. One of the best parts of our promise is the fact it follows the lathe for as long as it's in service," added GiConte.
